In the 757 area of Virginia, the name associated with ATM is Jynx Da Don. In 2016 we learned that Jynx had recruited members such as Prahlem Sundiata, Marci Milan, and Magnificent Pretty Boy to make a powerful super group under the ATM name. Also known as the “ATM Kartel.”
After about 2 years the group started to show signs of different direction. What started as a collaboration initially turned into a partnership among the artist in order to show power in numbers and bring the world amazing records with the many attributes from the different members.
Different members have different perspectives on why this powerful group didn’t hold up and the time they did work together the energy was felt throughout the Virginia Hampton roads area. Years later each member still releases music with an exception to Marci. It is rumored that she may have taken a break from music.
The question that arises when we think about this extraordinary set of musicians is “What would they have accomplished if they still were a group?”
