His opponent “Superstar Sal” is the biggest competition Jay Breed has ever faced since he entered the battle rap scene last year.
Comparing the two emcees is hard to do considering Superstar Sal’s extensive track record in battle rap versus Jay Breeds early stages of developing his career. Superstar Sal was once the top battle rapper in the 757 area long before battle leagues were even fully created. His experience level exceeds 95 percent of all battle rappers in Virginia.
Jay Breed has been one of the fastest rising stars we have seen in a while coming into the game with a amazing performance and fearless attitude towards more skilled competition. He is one of the few that came into the battle rap scene “WAR READY” from his first battle. Showcasing great delivery and performance made him stand out if you ask fans abroad.
Superstar Sal doesn’t battle often nowadays, yet he occasionally comes back to show the world he still has the ability to compete. When you look at his resume it might be safe to say that Sal has battled every heavy hitter within the battle rap scene in the 757 except Rolla, and Young X. Sal doesn’t seem to run from competition otherwise he wouldn’t have this very extensive resume, but Jay Breed may be the opponent that he has to use to wake the people up who may have forgot the work he put in over the years.
